PRICE: The Drawing
The price for a Save the Date Caricature drawing is $150. Please contact me for a quote on sign-in boards, invitations, and general caricature gifts (usually lower in price).
PRICE: The Cards
The drawing is printed on 5.5 x 8.5 glossy postcards by Got Print. An average order (100 cards) is only about $55, including ground shipping. Additional cost for printing on the back side and/or higher quantity. Other sizes also available.
Grand total for the caricature and 100 cards would be just over $200. Envelopes are not included, but recommended to protect the cards from damage in the mail - you can pick them up at any office supply store (5 3/4 x 8 3/4).
You're welcome to find printing on your own, in which case the price would just be $150 for the drawing and you'd get a high resolution image emailed to you that you could then pass along to the vendor you find to print them.
Reference Photos, Ideas, etc.
If you are interested ordering, gather photos of you and your fiance and include your ideas for the drawing. Send along any reference photos for clothing or other things to go in the caricature.
Turnaround Time:
On average, the time to do the drawing, which consists of a pencil sketch and then the full color caricature takes about a two weeks. If you are also doing printed cards, turnaround time on those are about a week and a half from the time the print order is placed. I place the order with Got Print and the cards ship direct to you.
